2008 Ferrari Hamann Black Miracle Review

2008 Ferrari Hamann Black Miracle Review

Sticky back plastic had not entered my life since the days of Blue Peter, but they were covering toilet rolls. Hamann Motorsport in Laupheim will clothe a Ferrari F430 in the stuff. Of course it's not simply plastic, this is an advanced foil that has been the rage in the tuning industry for many moons now.

Ferrari Hamann Black Miracle
has started working with its own matte colours and there are signs this trend that ignited in Germany, hardly the world's fashion capital, is going mainstream. Non-gloss coat aside there's a lip spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser to the gullwing doors that look ever so slightly out of place in this company, uncoated accent pieces and more kick under the Perspex cover.

A new sports exhaust and ECU boosts the output to 540 prancing ponies and give the car an exhaust note dirtier than Kate Moss's 'Doherty Phase'. It's a brave look, but then it can all come off at resale time and it's an attention grabber, if you're into that.
