The Wolfsburg start with a pithy slogan at the SEMA show: "The people want European performance. And they want it now." Frei translated: "The U.S. calls for European People's performance - and it now." As evidence for this theory presented VW a small but fine selection of hot cars made popular in Las Vegas.

With the Passat CC Eco Performance Concept around the Lower Saxony want to demonstrate that athletic performance may not necessarily be synonymous with ruthless Umweltverpestung. The powerful front mask of the Four-coupe can be opened with their greedy Kühlluftschlünden already guessed that something under the hood has done.
